Happy Birthday...to me
Mom gave me a new lens for my birthday. I tried it out last night at Jared's basketball game. The result....

Eva Colleen
This is Eva Colleen, the great-granddaughter of Randy and Colleen Bradshaw who were killed in a terrible auto accident several years ago. She is Kirsten Fails' daughter, seven months old. She is wearing a hat I knitted myself, intending it to be an adult hat but it ended up being baby sized. Oh well, it makes a cute picture.

Belated Christmas Present
On Derek's Christmas wish list last year, he asked for a video of Jared playing basketball. I wasn't able to make it happen. We got a new wish list from Derek and his desire to see Jared play was once again on his list. I made a clip of highlights from one of Jared's JV games from last year. Hope this works...

The Devil Made Me Do It
This is the only picture we got of our kids in their costumes, can you believe it? Saturday was such a busy day, we didn't have much time for more. We had trunk or treat at the church and two other parties after that. It was one big long party.
You can't see it but Chris had sign on his back that read, "She made me do it".

Scariest costume of all
What is it about Mormon Missionaries that causes people to flee, yell at the doorstep or even hide in their own homes in order to avoid a confrontation. Jared caused peers, classmates, faculty and administrators to confront their personal fears and prejudices by dressing up as a Mormon Missionary for his halloween costume. If nothing else, students, faculty and administrators of Grapevine High School learned first hand that missionaries aren't scary at all, at least not if they look like Jared.
Center of the Universe
Amanda dressed up as the "Center of the Universe" for Halloween. She wore a black tee shirt decorated by stars and moons. She wore a head band decorated with stars. If you look closely, you will notice Star earings. Yes, Amanda is indeed the center of her universe. By the way, doesn't she look grown up...
