When we woke up in Galilee, this was the view from our balcony. We stayed in the city of Tiberias, right next to the Sea of Galilee.
Our first day there, we visited lots of high places--the cliffs of Arbel, Mount Precipice (in Nazareth, where the crowd tried to throw Christ off a cliff) and Mt. Carmel (where Elijah had the confrontation with the priests of Baal.) Here we are at Mount Precipice. Imagine getting thrown off here. Yep, that would hurt.
Last we went to Caesarea, a Roman seaport. We visited a Roman theater and saw the remains of an aqueduct. That's the Mediterranean Sea nearby.
