She sees sea shells by the sea shore

As everyone scoured the beach up and down for the elusive, dare I say "the holy grail" of sea shells, we all were standing around when we heard Mom exclaim, "what is that?". As if Neptune himself had delivered it, there rolling in the serf was this almost perfect (whelk) sea shell right in front of our beach house. You would have thought we had just won the lottery. And yes, you can hear the ocean when you hold it to your ear.
